French electronic hypnotist Benard Szajner released this album, inspired by Frank Herbert’s Dune series in 1979. I’m getting off-the-charts readings on the trip-o-meter listening to this right now and I just woke up and haven’t done any drugs. The album oscillates between far out, trance-inducing synth loops and brief auditory journeys to the rich and hazardous lands of Dune, and Szajner sneaks some pretty killer drum sections into a couple of these tracks. I recommend a decent set of headphones and a little time to yourself to fully enjoy these Visions of Dune.
