The Song Sells the Wolves

…released in 1977, just before the Nosferatu soundtrack, which is very similar. This was also billed as a soundtrack, but only the first track was featured in Herzog’s Cœur de verre. I haven’t seen the film, but the music is based on traditional East Indian classical music according to a pretty weird amazon product description. 85% of the album is beautiful Sunday morning music, but “Hüter der Schwelle” has to be one of the heaviest krautrock jams ever. Please tell me if you recognize that chord progression from somewhere else.

In beautiful 320kbps
