This LP made big news in 2004 when reissued by Rephlex Records because no one believed it was from 1978. It looks like the rejuvenated Frenchmen have released a few more remixes and new albums since then, but I cannot extend my approval to what I haven’t heard. I frequently hear this described as italo disco, but that’s probably more of a milieu assessment than a description of the music. The six tracks blend together in an evil half-hour of haunting disco jams with basically the same beat from beginning to end — definitely meant to be listened to straight thru.
